Cát Bà National Park is a World Heritage Site designated as a biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam. The park is part of Cát Bà Island in Hạ Long Bay and is administered by the city of Haiphong. The park is located approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Hai Phong, covering about 263 square kilometres (102 sq mi) and comprising 173 square kilometres (67 sq mi) of land and 90 square kilometres (35 sq mi) of inshore water.( source: Wikipedia).

ITINERARY:
Day 1:Cat Ba National Park, Viethai Village
8:00Am Our Bus and the tour guide will pick up you from your hotel to the National Park.
14km for 5 hour hike through the mountain and rainforests and valleys to Frog Pond. Along the way you have a chance to see native cats, squirrels, spotted dear, snakes, thousands of butterflies, and if you’re lucky, a Cat Ba Langur. The highlight of this trek is the view from hilltop and diversity of different kinds of insect on the way. The trekking tour ends in Viet Hai village (3,5hours) – A local isolated village from the rest of the island known as home of local fisher men.
13:00Pm: Lunch at local family. With home cooked food.
14:00Pm: Easy cycling on jungle road (7km) to the port for 2 hours boat trip around Lan Ha bay and stop at van boi beach for swimming, and kayaking, visit monkey island ,before heading back to Cat Ba island.
17:00Pm: Transfer back to Cat Ba town. Trip ends.
